Does anyone know if this place is stillin business? I know they closed the Wedgewood Lane facility and the phone number is disconnected. The Lady Lake store still has a number and I have left several messages but no one is calling back. Haven't driven out there yet - I guess that is the next step.

Thanks.

Last month we had all of our floors redone by Paradise (super work/great prices), out of their Lady Lake store. We knew at the time that their Wedgewood Drive store was closing, but I have no info on the original store.
I'm interested in hearing more.

I was thare yesterday and they are out of business. I was told by the a neighbor of the store that "Vince (the owner) now works at a different carpet store and has the Lady Lake phone forwarded,"

I have found that they are closed. I have called the Lady Lake number several times and left my name and number and they don't call back. I have Vinces's cell number and he doesn't call back. I have some problems with the installation and the carpet is bucking in several places. There is suppose to be a 5 year warrantee on the installation - which I guess the guy has no intention of honoring. Not sure what recourse I have...guess I will have to look into that.

This makes me really nervous about working with a local, small vendor as opposed to a Home Depot or Lowes. I know its a sign of the times but the fact that the guy can't even call me back says alot about him.

As a followup to my original post, I have had two opinions regarding the installation of my carpet by Paradise Flooring. Both state that it was an improper installation. One opinion was from Shaw.

The 5 yr warrantee is useless since the owner won't call me back. I will have to pay for restretching. Guess I can still file complaints to the respective organizations in case the guy goes back into business.

We tried to reach Paradise Flooring today for a minor repair we need on flooring they installed. The person who answered the phone said "Masterpiece Flooring" and she said Paradise went out of business so they "bought" the phone number and are at a different location. It sounds fishy to me. I'd be wary of doing business with this company.
