10 Most Popular TV Programs of TV

Taking a walk in the evening around TV, I notice TV being watched. I wonder sometimes what TV people are watching. Although we have more money then the young folks relatively speaking and the ad agencies should cater to us but they don't care. There rating interests are for the young folks. So, what do we watch? I believe Trish mentioned in one of the postings NCIS. I like it too. I also like House. We watch Dancing with the Stars.

1. NCIS
2. House
3. Dancing with the Stars

Many people get their news from Fox News. Gee, give us a break. I also watch a little of Fox.

We still watch The Good Wife, Mad Men,CSI,and alot of old movies on Turner Classic Movies.

From a TV wannabee in no particular order:

The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles, CSI Miami, The Good Wife, Mad Men, Hawaii 5-0 (the new version which started last year), Rescue Me (final episode aired last month) Blue Bloods, Pan Am -- just started last week, looks promising.

No sitcoms on my list. I get too many laughs at my office :).

Best new show, I believe, is "Person of Interest" on Thursday night. Two others that are pretty good are "Prime Suspect" with Maria Bello and "Unforgettable" with Poppy Montgomery.
Older good ones: The Good Wife, Rules of Engagement Grey's Anatomy, Blue Bloods, Harry's Law and Body of Proof.

Maxman 10-03-2011 02:03 PM

Swamp People, Hoarders, Billy the Exterminator, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Golf, Professional Football, Curb your Enthusiasm, Star Trek N.G., Storage Wars, and Terra Nova.

Dr. Oz, Ice Road Truckers, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Say Yes To The Dress, House Hunters, Harry's Law, Dancing With The Stars, X-Factor, The Voice.

Yes, in a way you ridiculed him. He may watch the show for news and you tell him it is a joke. You may as well call him a joke. You can understand that, right?

I completely agree. He/she may be serious about liking Fox News and you just call that a joke.

As far as the original poster goes: Just because some of us elders may have more $ than the younger folks doesn't mean we spend it! The ad men know how to market and who buys things.

I like Bing Bang Theory; Happy Endings (see a trend:)) and other sitcoms. Plus surviovor (have seen all 23 seasons) and Amazing Race.
