Beginng of the End
What does this mean, freedom of speech violation or enough is enough?

Freedom of speech doesn't apply.
ESPN can pull anyone they want for any reason. "Freedom of speech" would apply if the GOVERNMENT was silencing him. |

So Hank Williams Jr makes an analogy about Boehner and Obama golfing and yucking it up together being like "It'd be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu." Obama was not called Hitler, he made an analogy to show how bizarred this comaradarie on the golf course was. He didn't actually say that Obama like was Hitler, or the other guy for that matter. If you ask me it is far more benign than what the liberals routinely call me as a Tea Partyer...a Nazi! a racist!...
Furthermore, the response of ESPN shows a blatant lack of...hmmm... a certain type sporting equipment. |
I think what got him pulled was what he said AFTER the Hitler remark.. When questioned about it, he said (paraphrasing), "Yeah, him and Biden, they're the enemy".

If you do not like ESPN's action about Hank Jr., you have the right to write them letters, emails, phone calls, not watch their network, organize boycotts of their sponsors, or do nothing at all.
The choice is yours. |
