Free Air

As a brand new Floridian, I'm wondering if the concept of free air at gas stations has been lost in Florida. Does anyone know a place near The Villages where a person can get free air for one's car tires?

Wait for the right political candidate to make their appearance.

Good one!!! But wouldn't think you'd want to put THAT stuff in your tires! :D

Just visited New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, no free air there.

We just moved from NC and I've been paying for air for tires for years.

I went to Wal-Mart and bought a small air compressor pretty cheap. I use it for my golf cart. Works great!! The only drawback is that it works off of the car accessory plug.

I just moved to TV in June from Baltimore. I use to live a couple of blocks from a WaWa station and they had free air. There are many WaWa stations in Maryland, they are probably the biggest station I've ever seen and always packed with customers. I would say the one we had was bigger than the Race Trac station here on Hwy 27, which is good size.

Speaking of the Race Trac station on Hwy 27 just north of 466. The air pump has a slot for quarters but you have to go inside and tell them to turn it on. Last month when I went there to get air and told them to turn it on, they said don't put money in it, the air is free, which it was.
