A lot of trouble selling things,buying things,1100 hundred miles in a not so good 26ft rental truck,but now we are FROGS in the Village of St.James,had our first get together last Monday with our new neighbors...................It is everything I had hoped for!:MOJE_whot:

Welcome to The Villages and congrats on your move! Sounded so familiar to me...now I understand why...you moved here from Joliet! We came in May 2008 from Chicago Heights! LOL! We're in Village of Amelia. The circumstances of our move sounded exactly like yours!

Previous poster commented moving here feels a lot like falling in love...I agree 100%...only difference is, after 3.5 years, the "new" still hasn't worn off the relationship! LOL! Enjoy "Livin' the Life in The Villages"!!

I'm coming to Florida with the love of my life and I'm happy for you and envious that you got down there before us. We are coming out of Channahon 8 miles from the big city of Joliet. If the plan goes right we will be there in April. One more year of snow but Angie is already retired so I won't have to worry about her driving to work. It wasn't her driving I worried about. I only have a 9 mile drive to work and I only have to do it 85 more times. My last day to go to work will be in late Feb. I can't wait to meet all of you join all of you down in paradise. :clap2:
