Liberal Mitt's Greatest Hits

Quote:

We didn’t lose the catastrophic 2008 election in November. We lost it when the hapless RINO John McCain somehow managed to secure the Republican nomination, despite having alienated most if not all conservatives. It is crucial that we do not make the same mistake in 2012 by saddling ourselves with the liberal statist Willard “Mittens” Romney.

This should give Obama a big boost in the polls.

villagegolfer thank you for that video. Personally I was aware of this side of Romney and it is not his religion that turns me off but the fact that I believe he is a RINO. Hiuntsmen is even more so a RINO

Rick Perry's job record is being attack as well as other aspects such as his personality, etc. If he resumes as top dog the Dems will ensue with a scorch earth agenda to bury him

I am beginning to believe that a Herman Cain/Marco Rubio ticket is becoming more and more attractive.

I wish Paul Ryan would re-consider he still has time

Still any of the above far surpass the disaster presently occupying the WH

Any extremist Tea Party endorsed Republican in either the presidential or vice-presidential slot on the ticket will guarantee that President Obama will be OUR President for 4 more years.:clap2:

Remember who the Democrat base includes. I do not have to go into that again. Of course, I will be glad to remind anyone in later postings.

What would be even funnier would be to have a Republican party split into two parties so their votes would be split between candidates and further guaranteeing President Obama 4 more years.:1rotfl:

Cain's 999 plan

I like Cain but I have a big problem with his 999 plan. The 9% corporate tax is fine (although 0% would be better). But the 9% income tax hurts seniors if it taxes, as I think it does, social security as income. Seniors don't have regular income tax or social security tax savings to balance the increase. Plus the 9% national sales tax is in addition to all state and local sales taxes and includes everything from food to new houses. This will particularly hurt people that are on fixed incomes. I doubt that 999 would ever get through Congress, but to me it shows that Cain hasn't thought through his positions well enough.

Buggyone, why would anyone in their right mind want 4 more years of the current administration. It lacks any kind of leadership, let alone experience. It is an honest question, I think. This nation is adrift with no one in control of its course. This is a situation that cannot be endured for another 4 years. I think even Mr. Obama is aware that his days are numbered. He is isolating himself to an even greater extent the more his policies (or more to the point, the lack thereof) are questioned.

Mittens has the R nomination locked up. Guaranteed. He has been campaigning since 2008 and has collected political IOU's along the way while rasing $$ for local candidates. He has been doing this rather quietly, while the ********** have been making fools of themselves.

One can argue why McBush lost in 2008. In all likelihood, after the disastrous 8 years of Bush, no R could have won. There is also considerable statistical evidence to suggest McBush lost it when he selected the Wasilla Quitta as a running mate.

and after the disastorous 4 years of Obama would you say the same about his chances for re-election?

Being fair and balanced of course.....right?

Much of the details of Cain's 9-9-9 Plan are here in the link. I'm sure he will address the concerns you mentioned above. All of it would be negotiated and tweeked in Congress, and most "fair tax" and "flat tax" plans proposed in the past have had an exemption for the lowest income earners.

We need to rid ourselves of B. Hussein Obuma and start the healing process. We need to take back the Senate so we can get things passed and have the American people back to work again.

Considering the slate of potential R nominees, O's chances of re-election are quite good. Romney is the only R with a chance to win. The Dems. will also likely increase their Senate majority.

Collapsing Presidency

I'd say this is worrisome except it really doesn't matter. Obama is irrelevant and the country is almost officially biding its time until he's gone.

Nice find VG, and an illustration of my original reluctance to support a Romney candidacy. (Although if he prevails, all Obama opposition will flock to vote him in record numbers; myself included)

I'm more and more falling behind Herman Cain to my surprise. I didn't give him enough credit at first to move his message successfully, but he's proving his critics short-sighted. He doesn't have the baggage the other candidates have, and he's a dynamic campaigner who's made few missteps.

Buggy must think if he demeans the Tea Party movement and objectives in this campaign that it will somehow become true regardless of all evidence to the contrary. Buggy and Chris Matthews are in for a sorrowful time, unless their prayers are answered. That prayer is the possibility of Hillary coming to the rescue and replacing the hapless Biden on the Democrat ticket as Vice-President.

This will not help the country recover from the disaster of the Obama presidency, but may rejuvenate a collapsing Obama reelection campaign. The next year is going to be very interesting, and exciting at times.

What a dynamic comparison. Could they be the one and the same? The drama continues.

Not so sure that the nation is adrift with no one in control of its course. Obama and his gang have purposely made every attempt to run this ship aground! If he knows his days are numbered it is because he's knows the jig is up.
And you are absolutely correct-no one in their right mind would want another 4 years of this! Give us HERMAN CAIN FOR PRESIDENT, and he can have Snoopy or Garfield as his VP! Either one of them is more intelligent and far more lovable than Biden!
AND, I might add to the American Thinker's list of Obama's nicknames: Obama the Pouter, Obama the Spoiled Brat Who Has No Clue What to Do When He Cannot Get His Own Way, and Erkle's Wimpy Brother!
