Contractor needed for kitchen backsplash
Looking for a contractor to install glass mosaic kitchen backsplash - those small glass tiles that I can't think the proper name of but hopefully someone gets the "picture".......thanks.

We used Bill Smith, 321-205-3198, to install our backsplash. It wasn't glass tile, it was stainless steel "subway" tile. He'd never used that material before and had to cut the top layer to fit under the cabinet but it turned out great!

I'd go with Alan Byer (352/233-8567). He did some of the small tile backsplash for someone I know and did a really nice job.

Alan really is -- just don't ask him to paint. He hates to do that!
I've seen him install stairs, cabinets, various backsplashes and all kinds of miscellaneous stuff and is an absolute whiz on electrical. Hey, if I could afford to, I'd have him redo my closets, upgrade my kitchen and add a couple of pocket doors. (Good thing renovations are not in my budget -- he wouldn't have time to work for anyone else!) |
tile backsplash
I used Corey McDermott who owns the company Picture Perfect. He will install any tile in any configuration and does a good job for a reasonable price. I first went to Roberto's Tile at Colony Plaza and while everyone was nice their prices are ridiculous. They were literally 300% more than Corey was and tried to inflate the square footage we really needed which made the price even more. I would highly recommend Corey.
