Refinish metal mirror frame
 

I have a large mirror with a 'gold' frame...does anyone out there know how to change the frame color to maybe a silver color frame? Can you spray paint without the color coming off? New at this....Shelly

Hard to tell exactly without seeing it, but I would mask the mirror with blue painters tape and newspaper, lightly sand the gold frame with 100 grit sandpaper, and then spray it the color I wanted. All supplies are available at Ace Hardware for around $10 total.

Thanks for your info. I think I will give it a try. What's the worst thing that can happen? Get a new mirror.
