Who decorates the benches?
 

I've noticed that some (but not all) benches along the golf cart paths are decorated for each season. Just curious, who decorates them?

I THINK that they are donated in memory of a loved one....but I am not sure of that.

I think you're correct Gracie in that they are donated. Our friend that helped us in finding our home in Hadley, was part of a group that donated one in memory of one their group that had recently died. The donors of the benches are probably the same ones who also do the seasonal decorations. :wave:

It is the donor or friend who decorates the bench. Last year around this time Grinches were taking some of the decorations, especially the live potted plants. What to think???!!!!

It's a very nice touch. I was wondering who was decorating. Now I know.:wave::wave::wave:

I personally do not like to see them decorated, especially with fake stuff. They look beautiful just as they are, and more welcoming bare.
