Christmas Tree decorating?

If there was a timed contest on decorating a tree, I would probably win....A prerequisite for finding the perfect house, was to find a house that had a closet big enough to store a Christmas tree DECORATED, I just roll it out, Waaalaaaa!....Of course, if the ole boy had a vote, we would have a wreath on the front door period!!!! Any more grinches out there?

Can't say I'm a Grinch but I'm having a hard time getting into the Chritmas spirit when it's pushing 80 degrees. I'm thrilled to no longer have to deal with snow but it sure doesn't seem like the holiday season

decorating when it's 80

I'm from NY and will move to TV in June. I often wonder how I will handle getting into the holiday spirit when it's 80? I will surely love decorating when it's not 30 outside but I associate the holidays with it being cold. Will I ever get use to the warm holidays?? I may need some of you to help me through the "hot"lidays when I move. Anyone else in the same boat?

It's not hard to get into the Christmas spirit here! It's all you see or hear beginning about 3 weeks ago and I expect it'll be steady until after Christmas!
We are going to NC to spend Christmas with our children and grandchildren, so I will just enjoy their decorations! No clean up!

I like the idea of a closet for the already decorated tree! Had one small one that I could store that way, but the big tree...well, it was too big and there was no place to store it.

It's not too hard getting into the Christmas mood when it's warm. Might take a little while to adjust to the temperature difference, but remember Christmas is more than just cold and possibly snow. There are lots of areas in this world that are warm on Dec. 25th.....they might find it strange to imagine Christmas with chilly temps. One can always set the AC to about 65, put on a sweater, heat up some hot chocolate, turn on the electric fireplace and sing Christmas songs... ;) Hey, don't laugh, at least when the holiday is over, you won't be facing snow, sleet, cold... :)

Merry Christmas! http://walagaintra.files.wordpress.c...decoration.jpg
