Working out a budget and hope others CYV owners could share with us what is the cost to insure a concrete CYV per year? What coverage should we look for. Thanks!!!!!

Ours was mid $700 but we have been warned by the insurance company that the claims for sink hole this past year have been massive and the rate will be going up significantly. And sink hole is imperative to have, as is hurricane. I would budget for about $1000.

Did the mid $700 include sink hole? Has there always been a sink hole issue in The Villages area? Thanks

Ours is around $700 inc. sinkhole coverage. Sinkholes are a central florida problem not just TV.

Is there a big problem with Sink Holes in TV ? I hadn't heard of any problems.

Not a big problem, but sink holes can happen, just like fires and hurricanes.

Just call the villages insurance they can give you a quote in 5 minutes since they know every home and then you don't have to guess

Through Villages Insurance our 2 BR Woodlawn CYV with wind and sink hole is $506 a year. Ask for Sheri Miller at the Spanish Springs office on Delmar.

We lived in the Dundalk area in Eastwood on Eastern Ave. & Pembrook before moving to New Freedom 11 years ago. Retired last year and will be making a trip to The Villages again this month. Hoping to work out a budget and make the move. It's great to see neighbors with the same "Villages" goal!

I had requested ASI Insurance because I had heard so many speak of their great rates but she said they had stopped writing new policies so she put us with Intergrity Insurance and it was an even better rate than she quoted over the phone with ASI. We purchased in July of this year in Tamarind Grove.

New Freedom, PA that is Ravens Country. We moved from Bel Air, MD this summer. I use to play golf a lot at Pilgrims Oaks in Delta, PA.

If you're setting a budget what you'll really like is the electric bills. With BGE in Bel Air we paid $395 in the winter months and about $250 in the summer and $180 in spring and fall. Just got my new SECO bill here and it was $92, had roughly the same amount last month.

Thanks for the info. We actually consider ourselves "Baltimorons":1rotfl: since we were born and lived there our first 43 years. My brother- in-law is a big Ravens fanatic, attending all home games, and going to the "Squealer" games. The utility bills sound great. I would love a $92 utility bill. Thanks again.

I catch all their games down year with NFL Sunday Ticket on Directv but during the week I can usually be found on either Cain Garden, Mallory or Havana Golf Courses. This time last year I was putting my clubs away, now I have to decide if I'm taking a light jacket to the course because it's only 68 degrees today.

Will look for "The Raven Cart" when visiting. We've never played golf, so we will look for you near the food places....after all, golfers must eat.
