Babysitter/Caretaker for Mentally Challenged Adult
 

I am looking for a babysitter/caretaker for my 54 year old mentally challenged sister when we are unable to take her on errands or activities with us during the day or evening for a few hours at a time. She is very sweet and loving; easy to care for.

We live in The Village of Buttonwood.

oooh, I googled the village sitter.....I skimmed it and I would have thought you only did pet sitting.....I must read closer.

Consider contacting New Covenant Methodist Church 352-750-4529. They have a Alzheimers/Dementia support group. Mentally challenged would not fit into this category, but they do have "Angels and Amigos" that will stay with loved ones.

Is The Villages a good place to live if you have a mentally, emotionally or physically challenged adult child? What's been your experience?
