His ad in the Daily sun says that he never charges villagers a service fee. He charged us $55 just to look at our washer. He quoted nearly $600 for the repair not including labor. This was for a new drum assembly when all that was needed was a bearing replacement. There is a service bulletin for bearing and seal replacement on this machine but I guess he just didn't want to do it!

Can anyone recommend an appliance repair guy?
