Kindle question - when downloading from library
 

I have checked out ebooks from the library onto my Kindle with no problem. When the book is due - it automatically goes back to Library - and I delete it from the Kindle Manager screen. I have also deleted prior to expiration date. My problem is - the book remains on the Kindle as inactive. Amazon wants me to purchase. Does anyone know how I can remove this from the Kindle. Thanks

Not sure what type of Kindle you have. I have the keyboard and here is how it works on it. From "Home" when you go to the book, instead of pressing for it to open, you press the "forward" arrow and it will open different things you can do. One of these is "Remove from Device." Good luck!
