.... For Someone To Jump In. Can it be true......??

Palin is the tonic that America needs right now... Hopefully she can invigorate the base to come out for candidates that share her commitment to bring America back from the brink.

Caribou Barbie proved herself to be a laughing stock to the Republican party in 2008. Why not have Caribou Barbie and Donald Chump team up for the "Laughing Stock Party"? Maybe they could be endorsed by Loreal Shampoo.

WOW, has villagegolfer/loveithere emerged like a phoenix from the ashes?

Wow, what a lot of intelligent discourse on this thread. I don't think I can maintain the high standards set by the previous posters, so I'll take a seat in the back of the room.

Whether you love her or hate her, Palin *does* seem to have an easy time being a lightning rod.

What will she do, teach them to only serve half a term.

Boy, it doesn't take long for someone to resort to ridicule. It is #5 in the Saul Alinsky play book. Sure beats thinking, no?

the word itself just generates mindless word-slapping.

Palin's mantra: "When the going gets tough, QUIT."

I would have my doubts about anyone who would support a governor who resigned halfway through her term of office.

Yet, I know there are some of the posters on this forum who totally believe Barbie would be a gosh-darn wonderful president. Very strange they would support a QUITTER.

Never does take long. What does that tell you?

It tells me there are childish, name calling, immature people on this forum.

Palin for president

As much as we hope, pray, fingers crossed, Palin will not run for president and here's why:

Running for president is hard work, something she's adverse to.

Being president is hard work, see above. It's not a job you can tweet in from Alaska.

If elected, she could not quit.

The lamestream media will go after her and her family of grifters.

She would actually have to learn something about history and geography.

She would have to quit her Fox News gig.

Her poll numbers are lower than Herman Cain's.

We can still hope and pray that she runs. The debates between her and President Obama would be priceless. Pass the popcorn.

Actually, I posted the link to that story because I have always thought she would run - but that she would not declare until after these current string of debates with the 6 or 7 (or however many there are) candidates - the goal being, of course, to skip debating as much as possible. Let's face it - debating issues is not her strong suit. Unless, of course, she has Hannity, Greta, or Beck tossing her softballs.

She would declare after these debates and then participate in 1 or 2 debates with Romney. At that point, republicans would be so fed up with Romney they would flock to her and on the 2nd or 3rd ballot she could win the nomination.

She would be a heavy underdog against Obama for sure. But, on a one-to-one contest all the underdog needs is for the frontrunner to commit a tremendous blunder - I keep thinking about Dukakis and the tank.

However, I still say Romney will be the nominee.
