We kill our own?!?!? How are children supposed to learn right from wrong if we can't teach them other charactor traits when they are endulged in doctrines such as situational ethics, no one wins/no one loses (the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat), it's OK to kill unborn babies in the name of convenience, no accountability (your wrong actions are the result of some abuse that you have endured from someone else). Alot of people have bought into this crap and have not loved their sons and daughters enough to spank their hineys, ground them, etc. Leave a child to his own devices and when he is grown, you have Wolfman Jack!
I read a study years ago, when my children were very small, about the playground fence. The study showed that the children who played in a playground without a fence, would stay close to the building. Children in the fenced playground, utilized every inch up to the fence for their play. The restriction of the fence gave them a boundary. While the boundary inhibited and kept them restricted, it also gave them the freedom to know what was an acceptable and safe place to play.
