Most Admired Americans of 2011

Did anyone else take notice that President Obama and Hillary Clinton were voted at the most admired Americans (men's category and women's category) in 2011?

Yes, I did see that Junior Bush and Oprah were #2 BUT Bill Clinton and Michelle Obama were the THIRD place winners in the Gallup poll.

Warren Buffett was in the #5 spot (it did not have anything about Jimmy Buffett).

Yes, this is indicative of the 2012 presidential race.

perhaps a hopeful intention!

Sort of like painting the bulls eye around an arrow already stuck in the wall.

You're a hopeless romantic. I think if they had Taylor Swift in the poll she might win. Maybe she should run for President.

Someday you will need to join the real world and forget the "virtual reality" world.

A few more notes from this "noteworthy" poll.....

This is President Obama's 4 time as #1....President George Bush topped the list 7 times. Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan 8 times.

Tim Tebow was #11

I also might point out that most folks do not refer to our last President as "Junior" !!

This poll was not about the "most admired" it was about who had the most face time in the news

The winner is...............

Navy SEAL Team 6 gets my vote.

I saw that Hillary Clinton has been on the most admired list for 16 straight years. Now, that is mighty impressive for anyone to do.

Yes...so impressive that the democratic party shoved her into the ditch for the sake of electing a young black guy who'd spent 144 days in the U.S. Senate, while Hillary served 8 years and won key primary states like California, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Massachusetts....and Michigan and Florida which the party did not credit to her because of their dates. It stunk.

President Obama won the democratic primary and the 2008 election in a landslide. Look it up. Get over it. He's the president.

Presidents Bush, Clinton and Reagan served two terms each. President Obama has only been in office for under three years.

The survey must have been done before Tim Tebow's last two games.

AMEN....you are correct and make my point.

The "insinuation" by the thread was as if this was a big big deal for President Obama.....but you nailed it.....nothing but name recognition and silliness.
