The problem with going to a shelter to adopt a pet is that they are all so adorable, and you wish you could take ALL of them.

I have a wonderful cat named SAM. He's a pale orange color and when you pick him up, he is so relaxed that it's like holding a noodle. Not only does he follow me all over the house, but he loves to sit on my lap at night. I don't know what I'd do w/o him around. Adopting an animal from a shelter is probably one of the greatest thing one can do during their lifetime. Benefits goes both ways! Think about it!!

I neglected to mention that we currently have 2 cats, and at one time also had two dogs. All four got along fine. :)

A warm lap, some food, and a person to love is all they need.
