We have used ProTech twice and found them reasonable and prompt. Very nice people, as well.

Called them last night based on the reviews on totv...They rep called me at 8 am and was here by 8:45 this morning..The unit needed a little gas and he went through the whole system..Spent about 1 1/2 hrs on the job and was constantly updating Chuck with his findings..Seemed to take a very personal interest in making sure the system operated as it is supposed too..total bill 145 bucks...I'm happy now..thanks for the recommendations...

I would not recommend Thermo Cool. Our unit was not installed properly, and then they refused to service the unit. We have a 10 year parts and labor contract. Bryant recommended Tony's Heating and Air Conditioning.

I used Stan Swander ( 352-446-8812 ) today. This was an emergency call on the A/C and Steve came out within 2hrs. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Feeling great again. His service was prompt and at a fair price. Would recommend him to anyone needing A/C and Heating work.. 5/22/12

Excellent choice would be Dave Gott, Real Cool, LLC. He's a Villager. 391-4459

Beware of Maintenance Plus AC and Heating big rip off artists. they will tell you that a unit must be replaced, when all it needs is a small part.

Hmmm, I called Maintenance+ on a recommendation from a friend, and then read your post. The guy that came here states that we need a new evaporator coil in our 2 year old Goodman unit. The parts are under warranty, but we'll be on the hook for labor (4 or 5 hours). I've called Chuck for a second opinion. Do you think that this is 'company policy' or just a case of the technician not being knowledgeable? Do you recall the tech's name?
