Scooter Trike
 

I've posted several times with questions about scooters (with two wheel), but I recently discovered a manufacturer of 3 wheeled, 49 cc scooters. The catch, is I am unable to find a local distributor of this particular trike. It looks like something I would be comparatively safe driving, while maintaining visibility. Does anyone know if a 49 cc trike would be exempt from DMV requirements, as a 49 cc two wheeled scooter is? Appreciate your input.

49 cc is not exempt from DMV regs except that insurance is not required. It does have to be registered and have license and tags, so would a 49 cc trike.

I looked it up,, says 35-40 mph.. not bad
