January POA Meeting Was Mobbed
 

Last night's POA meeting was mobbed. My best guess is there were 900-1,000 people there. Like so many Villages functions during the "season" if you walked in at 6:50 PM, all the seats were gone. The Villages Public Service Director spoke about the new speed limits in TV, why and how the study was done, etc. The February POA meeting should also be well attended becuase they're going to address the issue of flood insurance. It seems that 19 homes in TV were flooded recently and only two had flood insurance. We never gave flood insurance a thought but maybe we need to reconsider.

I have played golf at Hill Top a few times and have noticed some of the houses that sit below the tee boxes look like they would be very flood prone.
