Dr. Hunt at Lange Eye
 

Has anyone been treated by Dr. Hunt at the Lange Eye Institute? Have you been satisfied with the results? My wife will be going in for cataracts and we have not delt with Dr. Hunt before.

I saw him for cataract surgery consult. I personally didn't like his personalty, especially when we asked some questions. He also has a sanction against him on health grades for implanting the wrong lens in a patient. I decided to wait and check out another doctor before I made a decision.

My Dad, who lives across the street from us, had the same problem as Mikitv. When Dad tried to ask a question, he was told to SSSH! I was there and witnessed it. Also, read the waiver he has you sign very carefully. The one he was given stated that the patient is responsible for payment of any treatment needed in case of complications, including errors by the MD.

Dad decided to get another opinion and two years later has not had the surgery on the advise of the second Dr.

If it doesn't matter where you go...I recommend either Ocala Eye (they're highly rated) OR Mid-Florida Eye! I wouldn't go to Lange even if it was THE only place in T.V. Just my humble opinion...from what I've read here on TOTV!
