Chattahoochee river rock
 

Has anyone had experience with this type of concrete covering?

Can't seem to find any reviews of it online. Any pros or cons you can offer?
I'm all ears!

I have the river rock in my lanai. I can't locate the guy who did its phone number but I can get it if you want it. You are also welcome to check out my lanai if you wish. I live in Buttonwood so we live close enough.

May I ask, have you had it long? I'm wondering what the upkeep over time is.
(If the epoxy breaks down with time and needs to be re-poured or not)

He said it needs to be treated every two years @ $75 give or take. I've had it for over a year. It seems indestructible. And it sure does look nice. Think it cost something like $780 for a lanai 8 x 28. LIke I said, "You're welcome to scoot over and take a peek. I live a few houses in from the corner of Buttonwood Run and Triggerfish

I have the Chattahoochee in my lanai. It's beautiful. Had it done about a year ago. The name of the installer is Wally @ 352-399-2557. He's been in business for 25 years. He worked alone and got it done in a few hours and I could put the furniture back next day. I think it cost between $700 and $800, I don't remember exactly. He said it's pretty much impervious to everything except fire,such as a hot coal from a barbecue. You can wash it with a hose if it needs it. He didn't say anything about treating or sealing it.

:coolsmiley: We had it installed just about 2 years and we love it. Easy to clean and it looks great. We have had a lot of compliments.:clap2:

Our lanai has been done for about 8 yrs now and we still say it was one of the better upgrades we've done. I have had it professionally cleaned & re-sealed twice now and it's not what I call cheap ... can't remember exactly but want to say it cost about $150 for that service. My lanai is 9x37. there are times when the floor takes on a whiteish dull look due to the elemnts but our installer said it was normal and a spray mist of de-natured alcohol brings it back to perfect condition. Very happy with the look and the ease of hosing it when needed. I will send a pm with name & number of company.

What is this product are you talking about? just looking for info as I hope on buying some time this year and am looking for all the information on the villages homes as much as possible. thanks :popcorn:

It's very small, tumbled stones (smaller than pea gravel) that are mixed into a clear epoxy liquid and spread by trowel over existing concrete. It is quite nice!

We have it in Memphis for our driveway and in the back of the house. It's great.
My inlaws had it southern Fla for over 25 years no problems. When my kids visited their grandparents they would sing the Chatahoochie song.
Lyrics were easy, only one word. I guess it's really nice to say.
Brings back fond memories.
