Bee Gee Review- by Tommy

These were one of the best imitation bands I have ever heard in my life. The Bee Gees were dead on with their songs. Harmonizing was perfect and Barry and Robin's voices were accurate. If there was any complaints it would be they didn't do two of their signature songs. "New York Mining Disaster" and "Words."

A great show and worth the price of the ticket. If you didn't catch them this time around, make sure you do the next time they perform in The Villages.

Fans were on their feet singing and clapping. What a show! You could feel the energy buzz in the room.

It was awesome !! They did "Words" when we went. We were at the first show Monday night.

They had a request to do "FANNY" so it is possible "Words" was eliminated to fit "Fanny" in. Yes, a great show and one of the best imitation bands I have ever seen and heard. Like Ed Sullivan would say "A really good show."

We were at the last show on Tuesday night

Tom thanks for the review. I hope this band comes back some time when we are in town.

Speaking of imitations though, yours of Ed Sullivan needs work. :girlneener:

He would say, "It's a really big shoe." :)

Did they sing "To Love Somebody" ???? That was supposed to be our wedding song.

chuckinca 02-08-2012 10:12 PM

Do they play here often?

.

Tom Hannon 02-09-2012 04:56 AM

They did not do "To Love Somebody." I guess when you have a song catalog as large as the Gibb brothers, some songs do not make the cut.

That was supposed to be our wedding song.

SUPPOSED?? And, as far as I know, They return to TV every year.

linandvin 02-09-2012 08:52 AM

Yup...supposed...the "band". (that dates us!) didn't know the song so we had to pick something else.

Then Topo Gigio would have to add, "I love you Eddie".........
