Problem trying to purchase The Book
 

My wife and I were down at the Villages for a look-see a couple of weeks ago. We're considering a move from our Glenview, IL location now that we're retired.

I've tried to purchase the Online .pdf Book about the Villages twice, but the transaction has failed both times.

I don't have a paypal account, so I'm using the credit card payment feature.

A request for help from bkpartnerships@gmail.com has yielded no response.

Would anybody have any suggestions?

Amazon.com has a helpful book about the Villages. I forgot the exact name (a senior moment) but if you need it, I can get it for you.

The book that Amazon carries is "The Villages Florida Book" I haven't read it.

But I did download the pdf.book that is sold through this site. And honestly for $14.95 I was extremely disappointed. It is a best of type collection from this forum nothing more nothing less. If the price was $1.95 it would have been more inline for what you get.

I downloaded it to my kindle fire from Amazon. I agreee with Harry that there is more info on this website than in the book!

I agree, the book was just a re-hash of this site. I copy off info from these posts and have created my own reference log

It's a waste of money, and the info is ALL HERE, on this forum.

The NUTS AND BOLTS thread on this forum has most of the pertinent info you'll need. THE BOOK didn't cover what zcaveman's thread does.

You can use the search feature at the top of the forum for any topic you can think of regarding life here..... and feel free to post any questions! Our members on the forum are patient and helpful. (or we:boxing2: them.)

The Villages is a little different from Glenview, but lovely in it's own way. I hope you will visit again soon and see more of how remarkable it truly is.

I agree with Uptown Girl. I purchased the PDF before moving down here and it is all covered in the Nuts and Bolts section. Plus just try search on whatever topic you like here on TOTV and you get the most recent comments.
