Hi folks! Need a top notch Dr. for people in their 80's. Someone who has excellent credentials and schooled in the US.

There are many top notch doctors here who were not schooled in the U.S. Guess I can't help you.

We also need a Doctor (Geriatrics)
 

We have been here since Oct. with my wife's mom. She is in one of the local assisted living facilities nearby. We have not moved our health care from up north as yet.

Our pressing need is to find a geriatrics doctor for my mother-in-law. She does have some dementia and requires the extra care the assisted living facility provides.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a geriatrics doctor, preferably female?

Speak with the staff at thefacility she's in. There are probably numerous doctors working with the patients. Family members of residents in the facilities could also be a valuable resource regarding doctors who treat residents in the facility.
