Gas Fire Place

My wife and I are considering a move into the Villages and wanted to know where in TV is gas available for cooking and a gas fireplace?

If a gas line is not available, then is a buried tank an option?

We moved into Miona Shores in 2008 thats South 466 and was told we were the last village development that was going to have gas. Anything built after that like Pennecamp and beyond was suppose to be electric. Thats what we were told...I doubt the villages would allow a buried tank never heard that as an option.
The Villages sales office could tell you, I'm sure.. Good luck, we love the gas appliances etc...

We live in Duval north of O'dell circle...home was built in 2006 and we have natural gas. A friend who build west of Buena Vista does not have natural gas but was given the ok to bury a propane tank for his pool heater.

If you have a "summer kitchen" in your lanai, they bury the huge propane tank on your property. This would allow you to have a fireplace.
