dryer vent cleaning
 

I know this has been discussed before. Is desmond harris, the fellow that is so good at cleaning out dryer vent pipes still in business. And if so can anyone tell me about what he charges to do a dryer vent pipe cleanout. I think i need to call someone for mine and i think desmond will be the one i call. Any info is appreciated. thanks

It is Desmond Harris and he just cleaned our dryer vent last month. He charged me $50.00 and also changed our smoke detector batteries for us. Very nice man.

Desmond Harris is a gentleman, and is quick and competent. Have used his services for two years, will continue to do so.

Desmond Harris will be servicing my dryer vent for the first time tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Desmond Harris arrived today right on time with his assistant Jason, who was the designated roof climber, and cleaned the dryer venting. I can't believe how much the dryer filter misses in 3 years. Desmond suggests a yearly cleaning for dryer efficiency and safety.

I was very impressed with his manner and his work and will definitely be calling him again.

In another thread a phone number was listed, but it was the wrong number for an appointment. Desmond is so busy now he employs an appointment receptionist. The new number is 352-308-9243

Again I've found a good contractor through this forum.

Just had Desmond in yesterday and WOW who knew how much crap was in our vent. Untreated it would've become a fire hazard. What a great guy! Now I have peace of mind.......

Desmond Harris came to our villa today. The vent was clogged and could have created a very serious problem if we hadn't cought this in time. The dryer was getting very hot. I higly recommend Mr. Harris. He is very courteous.

I used Desmond Harris about a month ago and was extremely pleased with him. I've only been here 10 months, but the dryer vent had years of lint in it. It was amazing to see what came out!!

Another vote for Desmond. He will also replace your smoke alarm batteries while he is there for no charge (you furnish batteries) Great Service, Great Guy:thumbup:

Desmond Harris just left and my dryer vent is clean. He cleaned the duct from the bottom and his partner went to the roof. I should have done this a long time ago. He said he would also change the smoke detector batteries for me if I supply the batteries. Next year I will have him do the smokes as well as I just did them last month. I don't know if he is on Angie's list but he is on mine. Call and make an appt. 352 308-9243.

Another vote for Desmond Harris. Had an 8 am appointment today and he was on time. Started working immediately with his assistant. Am very pleased with him. Was through and efficient. Charged $50 and also replaced smoke detector batteries throughout the house. Will definitely use him again!

Duct Cleaning
 

Desmond just left here. He cleaned our dryer vent, and Mary and I couldn't be more pleased. We will be calling him in the future to clean our heating and A/C vents and ducts.

He came on time, did what he said he would, and cleaned up and left. You couldn't ask for anything more. Call him at #352-308-9243. You won't be disappointed.

I agree. Desmond does superior work. Does all the little extras also. He is the best.
