What five upgrades would you choose for your home?
 

I have heard many say what they think is most important to them in buying or building here.

What five upgrades do you consider the most important to you in your villages home? What would you have changed?

1. extended lanai
2. granite or corian countertop
3. all tiled floors
4. laundry room (not with washer and dryer in the walk through from the garage)
5. French doors to lanai

Must haves
 

1. Stretch as much as possible
2. Tile throughout
3. Recessed lighting
4. Additional outlets
5. Wish they offered an option in the Gardenia for the pantry and the wall oven to be in the kitchen. We had to put our pantry in the laundry room.
6. Half bath in all models!!!

Sorry, I went over my limit.

1. extended lanai
2. pool with a cabana bath/changing room
3. granite countertops in kitchen area
4. hardwood floors
5. crown mouldings

Not living in TV yet, why not the washer/ dryer in the walkthrough from the garage?

1. Streach everything.
2. Granite counter tops.
3. Unlisted phone for the first 6 months.

I'm learning, why culdesac lot?

it's just my preference.....I had the washer and dryer/laundry room in the pass through from the garage to the kitchen in my house in Orlando, but in Illinois I had a separate laundry/pantry. The whole time we lived in Orlando, I wished that we didn't have to dodge laundry while coming in the house from the garage! I guess I am just picky! :1rotfl:

I like a cul de sac because there's not traffic going by, unless they live there, AND you can have neighborhood parties in the cul de sac!

3) a box of money from the builder as a thank you for buying
those are my top three

7. Pool bath
8. crown moulding
9. solid surface counter tops throughout
10. larger tubs in the guest bath

Not there yet, but
 

1. pull out shelving in kitchen
2. attic access
3. stretched garage
4. cul-de-sac
5. no carpet (DW's priority)
