How long to dry epoxy??

Can anyone tell me how long it takes epoxy to dry on the garage floor when you have it done? Thanks

This will seem really ignorant but why do you epoxy a driveway.

We are having ours done on Monday. I am not there of course. I think he said it takes a few days.

You empoxy the garage, not the driveway

If I remember correctly, we could walk on it within a few hours, but couldn't park the carts or car in there for 72 hours.

I have no idea why I read that incorrectly. Thanks. The garage, not the driveway. ha.

Thanks everyone. Trying to time everything out when we move.

I epoxied my garage floor in January using the Rustoleum product. If I remember correctly you should wait 3 days before bringing a vehicle in. Some friends of ours did theirs and brought their car in earlier as they felt it was dry- Big Mistake! They have markings on the floor from the car tires. Don't rush it! I think I waited longer than the recommended time just to be on the safe side after hearing of their experience. Good Luck!

Yep we did epoxy on the driveway. Some concrete driveways stain badly so when our villas got permission to paint we got ours done right away and it sure looks nice. It's supposed to be pretty durable, however will have to be sealed every couple of years.

..Great advice ducati.......
I might add, as a precaution....DO NOT drive a Vehicle with HOT tires
directly into the garage for at least 7 days. Wait an hour or so, ESPECIALLY if you were going 45mph plus and ambient is over 72 F.

If you just got off the Interstate ... leave outside for 1/2 hour until 30 plus days have passed.

Of course, High Relative HUMIDITY slows the drying rate, also.

Been there........
