St. Patricks Day Parade
 

Just noticed St. Patricks Day parade and celebration is on March 16th this year. Any ideas as to why. Not complaining gives 2 days to celebrate,just curious.

The Cruise In is always the 3rd Saturday of the month and takes up all of Spanish Springs. That would be my guess.

Love St Patty's in The Villages! I prefer Lake Sumter for the parade:wave:

I understand it is because of the car show which has been booked for many months and cars come from all over.

Since we will be there on that date for our "one day fly by", I'm interested to know some details about the parade. What's it like? Where should we watch from? Does everyone wear green? And, what time of day does the parade start?

Love the St Patty's parade in TV. Last year I was at LSL and the segway club had a fellow that had holes in his pants and rubber butt cheeks showing. It was so funny....I howled for what seemed like 10 mins straight just thinking about it.

Which parade is better SP or LSL?
