Spa: Heat Pumps vs. Gas Heaters
 

I am planning on adding a Spa & Pool after I move into my new home later this month. What are the Pros and Cons of installing a Heat Pump vs. a Gas Heater for the Spa? I know it takes longer (several hours) to heat up a spa with a Heat Pump. Initial cost is cheaper for the Gas Heater. Any recommendations are appreciated
