And you are annoyed that shows automatically record 1 minute over, please call customer service and complain. If you want to record 2 other HD shows the hour following, it kicks one of them out since there is a 1 minute overlap. So technically you are trying to record 3 he shows at once which is a no-no. Apparentely, I am the only one who has called about it (which I find hard to believe).

Can you not go into options or preferences and change it?

Nope. Their response was "that's just the way it is -- no one else has ever complained about it." Looks like I will be going back to Comcast.

I'm not an expert on this since we do not have it,,BUT,,,if you are recording mutlple shows at the approx. the same time.. Record by time and not by show title. I have to do this with my cable provider. I don't think their clock is in sync with the program...I record all programs 1 min. over so I don't miss the end of a show.. It's not just PRISM..cable providers have same issue..Good Luck

That is an option for a one-time show but not if you want to set up a series recording. Thanks for the suggestion though.

With dish you can go in and change it. So my father just records teh show and the show after in order to get all of the initial show, but keeps from having issues.
