...... What is going on at the squares!

We ran into the car show at Spanish Springs last weekend, but I wouldn't have known about it had I not been there. Is there a schedule of the events at the squares?

The Villages Daily Sun constantly publishes all activities. This paper is a super cheap way to stay up on life at The Villages.

is in the Daily Sun. It is under Entertainment I think. There are usually advanced ads too during the week before a big one like the cruise in. At least that is where I saw the cruise in and the sidewalk sales advertised.

then try *VIRGINIA TRACE,* THE VILLAGES,* FLORIDA ...on left is a scad-million Club Listings......PLUS the site has a plethora of USEFUL info .....

IMHO... if you can't find at least a DOZEN things to do EVERYDAY..you are NOT looking at what is readily availale to VILLAGERS and Guests WITH I.D. Cards.

I have heard people say..." but I can buy MORE house for LESS money Just OUTSIDE the Villages"...
....I believe they do not understand that the LIFESTYLE available to VILLAGERS is PRICELESS....


By the way=the Spanish Springs Car Show is EVERY 3rd Saturday.....

another suggestion is to go to The Villages - Florida's Friendliest Retirement Hometown - New Home Sales, Home Resales, Build Your Dream Home and sign up for the monthly v-mail - lots of info in it!

Angie, on the last Sunday of the month the Daily Sun has a calendar page that you can post on your fridge. One side has LSL entertainment & events, and the other side has SS events, Church on the Square & Katie Belle's entertainment. We try to remember to look for the calendar in the last Sunday of the month's Daily Sun. We missed it once or twice & were lost without it!

Some of us read the Daily Sun every day. It has great detailed info, and often discount coupons. I often don't get a chance to read the paper, but I keep track of what is going on by making sure I keep The Thursday Rec Guide. Also, as Judy said, we post the monthly Calendar of Events on the fridge.
