Curious if anyone has a problem with this
If you recall after 9/11 there were a number of programs that were set up by the government that outraged many of the citizens of this country. There was actual rage and outcry at the time.
How does everyone feel about this... "The U.S. intelligence community will now be able to store information about Americans with no ties to terrorism for up to five years under new Obama administration guidelines." News from The Associated Press No controversy from me but I am guessing, perhaps wrongly, that some of our posters were blasting the last administration for less ! |
I have a huge problem with it. :cold:

On a political note what bothers me is the hypocrisy......this kind of thing was held up by the President during the campaign and used to ridicule the previous administration and not only continues what he condemned he is enhancing it. |
I have absolutely no problem with it - but, what the heck did the last administration do? The Patriot Act? That's it?
Wasn't there a 9/11 Commission that made many, many recommendations to the administration - and the administration ignored every single one of them? Criticism of the 9/11 Commission - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
