Westinghouse Whole House Water Filter
 

Recently discovered that Lowes sells a Westinghouse whole home water filter that is self flushing and requires no filter changes, etc... anyone out there have one of these and care to comment on their effectiviness? One problem with this system ( which mounts at the garage water valve ) is that the flushing system requires a floor drain or somewhere for the drain hose to pump the flushed water. I was thinking of having a hole drilled through the garage wall to run the flush hose outside; any other ideas?
