Accident at Buena Vista & Bailey Trail
 

As I was going to band rehearsal this evening around 6PM I noticed emergency vehicles on the south side of Bailey Trail and Buena Vista on the side of the road. I noticed that there was a car in the golf cart lane apparently involved in an accident with a golf cart. I really was unable to see much as I was in the circle and had to keep going. Anyone have any information on this? I would assume that the car was either driving in the golf cart lane or somehow swerved on the road to avoid something and ended up over the curb in the golf cart lane.

Didn't see the accident, but carts have to merge with traffic at both ends of Bailey Trail, so I'm assuming a little "bumping" action going on... Hope no one was seriously injured...

Reminded me of riding in the cart Saturday [wife was driving] on Pennecamp Dr. She was getting ready to merge to turn on St. Charles and I looked up into the rearview mirror. There was a car following us in the cart lane... I had to laugh. It's easy to do, when you drive your cart all the time and then jump into the car to make a quick trip somewhere...you automatically migrate into the cart lane...

One more hijack.....I was leaving Cane Gardens through the cart exit onto Lakewood and a little old lady in a car followed me out, for anyone that knows that exit it's a little tight for a car. The guy in the bag drop shack chased her but there was no way she could have backed out so she had to go through. Too funny!

Actually this accident happened after the cart lane turned south. It really was on Buena Vista.
