Serpentinite Rainforest Green or Brown Granite

Has anyone every had Rainforest Green or Brown Granite which is actually a Serpentinite? I am being told mixed analysis-some say it is too fragile and the veins will crack, and that it will scratch easy, and others say it is great. It is not a marble and it is not exactly a granite, it is a Serpentinite. Trying to get some objective feedback. Comes from India and I really like it, I am down to a few choices and this is one of them. Thanks!

I have heard alot of people are getting away from granite due to radon levels within it.

Thanks, this product is not actually a granite, nor is it a marble, and I am not sure about the radon but I read about that in a previous post. I am not too worried about the radon for the amount of granite we will have, but I have looked at "green" products too but quite honestly, they are a little drab.

Serpentinite should be fine to use (from what I've read) They cut it with a granite saw, so it is stronger than marble.

I believe it (like marble) is a bit more sensitive to acidic etching, so if it were mine, I would make sure to keep a long wearing sealer on it and be most careful of acidic food spills. And probably wipe up with just water.

Of course having the pattern it has, not much will visually mar the look, even under heavy use.
It is quite beautiful. :)

I would stick with granite. Marble stains and etches. Have had granite for a LONG time and we are all still kicking so I am a little sceptical about it emitting anything.
