Do Not Recommend Par Car

I bought a Par Car in 2008. I purchased the battery fill system so I would not have the acid problems you hear about. In 2010 I needed batteries. In the beginning I had noticed acid spots on the driveway and called Par Car. The answer was to make sure the cart was fully charged before filling which we already had been doing. Now the acid has eaten through the body sides by the batteries, the snaps on the canvas sides and I have corrosion on the steel frame. Par Car has had my cart for a week. Guess what the battery fill system has not been working correctly. And I need batteries again. So in four years I have needed batteries twice at $800 each time. Both times I needed battieries there were two bad batteries and I had to replace them all. That makes me think the battery fill system was the reason both times. But when they call you they always state we checked the charging system and it is working correctly. I just love their radio ads stating they batteries last many many years. Don't believe it. I am proof it is not true. Please do not recommend Par Car to anyone. Has anyone else had problems with the battery fill systems?

I'll take the other six!

Replacing all is not really needed unless you're the stealing dealer!

I bought a Par Car in 2007 and I have a battery fill system. I replaced the batteries for the first time in 2012.

Ruff N Tuff

We purchased a 2010 Ruff N Tuff a little over a year ago and have had no problems at all for over 1700 miles. It has no-maintenance batteries and all I've done is plug it in when needed.

I have 2007 ParCar with the battery fill system.

Great cart, long range, no problems.

I would buy another one.
