Does anyone know what time the postal area is open in Sanibel? Does the post man come a specific time?

You can pick up your mail 24/7. The mail kiosks are air conditioned so your prescriptions can easily stay there until you come for them. The pretty little buildings are painted annually and nicely lit at night. Our postman arrives around threeish every afternoon. You have NO say whether you have a high box or a low box and it has nothing to do with when you build. I think it was written in the book of Genesis long before we arrived...

We had a party at our mail kiosk at Laurel Valley last night. We had some yummy snacks and some tall cool ones, did the rain dance and welcomed some new villagers.

Well I will take a ride over this morning to see if I can locate all our two weeks of forwarded mail. They are supposed to hold it while the house is being built biti need to find where exactly and how exactly to get it :)

Sanibel mail is usually delivered after 1pm; later on Mondays.

You might have to go to the Lady Lake Post Office to pick up mail that is being held.

When we were building our house they assigned a mailbox to us. We had to relinguish the old one in Hadley when we sold. This was last October and at that time having a mailbox in your new village and access to it WHILE you build was a NEW thing and had not been done before. Contact your sales rep for keys.

When you close there will be a charge for your mailbox.
