Just received a phone solicitation from All Heating & Cooling offering a $34.95 checkup of the air conditioning system. Since we need to have it done anyway, thought we would give them a try. Has anyone used this company or responded to this offer?

Personally, I would never buy anything as the result of an unsolicited phone call. I have a contract with Sunshine Air Conditioning (the company used by the previous owner of my home). They do maintenance twice a year, are available for service calls 24 hours a day, and are certified installers of Carrier Air Conditioners.

I too wouldn't buy from unsolicited phone calls of which I get about 2 a week for A/C tuneups.

The larger companies leave a lot to be desired. This guy is good!
