Dermatology question? Has anyone had the "blue light"
treatment for pre cancerous lesions?
How long ago? Were you/are you satisfied with the long term results? Was the post treatment (48-72 hours) of any consequence? Would you do it again? btk PS....and I anxiously await at least one K-Mart response!! |
I had it done 3 years ago and it did clear many places, many of them have come back. I would not do that again. With what you go through pain wise not worth it. Each pre-cancerous spot stings like you are being stung by ants. At least that how it was for me. Afterward had no problem with the next 72 hours.

I had the treatment three years ago and did not think it really did anything. Mine was not as painful as Dennis described, but maybe he received a stronger treatment than I did. Afterward, it felt just like a sunburn for a couple of days.
I have just finished my third full face effudex treatment in maybe 20 years. I think that it really does work but more damage will appear in the future. I had a great tan when I was younger, but am really paying for it now. |
