I wondered if I could name any Alaska Governors except for Sarah Palin. Palin is the only one I could come up with from this list.

It looks like the military used to punish officers by giving them the "command" of the Department of Alaska, judging from how long each officer in charge actually had that duty. U.S. States A-D

No specific point. Just was curious if any other Alaskan governor had made a national impact like Sarah Palin.
