New Assisted living place isn't seating at Brownwood you little stinker!

Shadow? You sly little fox. I think you were just trying to get our attention to something printed in your favorite newspaper, The Sentinel.

I think this MAY be adjacent to The Village of St. James on the western side down 466A. Is that road they mention the one that goes to St.Vincent de Paul Church?

must be high demand

Another company is building an independent/assisted facility behind Steeplechase (CR-103). Steeplechase opened in June 2010 and needs to expand already! By the way, it is a beautiful facility, my 90 year old Mom lives there. I visit her daily and it is so nice that it so close.

So will they be saving beds instead of chairs, we will need pictures of the yellow tape if they do:popcorn:

When I was reading about the Brownwood Town Square, it said that the seating was going to be stadium style seating and not chairs. I do presume that there will be chairs available for when the stadium seating is filled but no mention was made of that.

Not going to bother me one way or the other. I am going to stick with Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing - both only 15 minutes by golf cart from my home.

i, too, read of the stadium seating...BUT...i doubt that such a configuration will STOP the villages crowd from saving seats...saving anything is just part of their nature! ;)

If Steeplechase doesn't fix the bad food, they won't need to expand.

The Leesburg paper had something about this apartment building.

Remember, too, that the town squares (all of them) are open to the public. If there are going to be assisted or independent living communities built in that area, many, many of those residents are mobile enough to go to Brownwood for their evening entertainment. Since Brownwood is actually in the limits of Wildwood, I figure lots of Wildwood residents will think of it as "their" entertainment place - and maybe some of the unsavory element will be at Brownwood in the late evenings after the movies or bars are just closing. Cheap drinks at most of the Villages bars compared to outside should bring in quite a few people from Wildwood since it is so close to them.

Yes little girl you could see right thru my ploy and you were the first to bite. You being one of a kind you are on my catch and release list, so take your squirt gun and be on your way to return and to bite another day.

I believe the news article said the 209 bed facility on 7 acres was part of a 42 acres comunity project planned. As I have stated in previous threads as The Villages grows so do adjoining communities....meaning we are going to be very very crowded very very soon .
