Comments on Carpio's
 

There is a company "Carpio's" that does staining. Has anyone dealt with them and,if so, did they do a good job and did their work last? Any comments would be appreciated.

They have done work for us and we were very happy with them. They also have done work for many of our neighbors and I know of no complaints. I have told friends about them and they have used them with no complaints.

Would I use them again? You bet! :thumbup:

We have not used Carpios - however, we did get an estimate from them and will probably call them upon our return in the Fall. Our next door neighbor had their driveway done by Carpios and it is beautiful. Strangers have knocked on their door to ask permission to photograph the drive and get the name of the company that did the work. Their prices ARE very reasonable.

I've had 3 quotes including Carpios and one more to come to do our front walk and lanai. Right now Carpios is less than half of our highest quote. They are only word of mouth and that's how I got their name. Highly recommended by a friend and will probably choose them.

I was very pleased with their work.

I don't know what happened to them since 2012 but I would not recommend them to anyone I know. They were very reasonable but our lanai is still not right. Hired them Jan 18th and we had several issues arise with them. Still trying to get it done correctly. The most annoying thing is the many messages I have left with them and they never return your calls or let you know when they'll be back to do the next phase. I've had to leave ugly messages to get them to come back. Work was good until they came to touch up some mistakes. The only thing I'm happy about is we didn't pay them yet. Very unprofessionally ran business.

I'm sorry to say that I did use them recently. The outcome was disastrous. My driveway was a joke (a bad one). I had to have another contractor come in to remove it. It has now been completed properly. It is not my nature to talk bad about a contractor but they do not return calls either. I was very dissatisfied with their work!!
