Good steak
 

Is there a good steak house close by? Not a franchise type.

You might try Jeffrey Paul's Chop House in Leesburg. I ate at his first location in Eustis and see he just moved to Leesburg. I enjoyed the evening in Eustis and will soon try the Leesburg location.

Often he has coupons in The Villages Daily Sun.

Perhaps others have been to the new Leesburg location and can comment.

I also do like Jeffrey Paul's Chophouse. On occasion he does have a $20 off coupon in the Daily Sun. The new location is closer to TV and it is a decent steak restaurant.

If you want to travel to Ocala then Mark's Prime is a step up as compared to Jeffrey Paul's. About 40 minutes from TV and across from the Ocala green.

Try Mark's US Prime in Ocala. Steaks are as good as Ruth's Chris. Warning - it's a little pricey.

I have to say I've had some good steaks at Cody's.

Thursday night is steak night at Lopez. Can't be too bad, it's Lopez!

I may be alone, but the Cattle Baron has served me some good steaks at a great price, and the salad/soup/bread bar is excellent.

So fifty bucks for a steak?

Mark's is awesome and it is 50 bucks for a steak with no side items or soup/salad. It is an ala carte menu.

Well, when my husband and I go we split a salad, each get a filet mignon and we share two sides. With a glass of wine each, it usually comes to $100. It's worth it though. The steaks are so tender you can cut them with your fork.
