Welcome! From your design appointment it takes 70 days to closing unless you are doing a pool. We met the designer on April 30-May 2 and close on July 9. Down side is it is taking 2 1/2 + months to get a designer appointment. Come on down, you will love it

Yesterday, the house across the street had no blocks in place at 7:00 in the morning. At six last night when all 17 of the block layers left this is what it looked like.

We are closing 3 weeks earlier than expected.
From the day the footings were put in to closing is 77 days for a premier, with pool, cage etc.
Now thats fast.

That looks like a new Walmart store, or maybe another Tire store.

It will look smaller as it goes along. Block stage always looks gigundous. It is a Grandview.

Last fall and early spring of '12 it took only 65 days to complete our new designer home in Sanibel. And we got a "designer" to work out our final plans in just two weeks. Of course, things change so my advise is to ask your sales person. They will know. Good luck.

That's really fast.

Haven't seen any negative comments regarding the quality of the homes, but of course just recently found TOTV. I'm assuming most folks are very satisfied. Please let us know what you've experienced. Thanks.

We just moved into our second new home here in The Villages. We have built SEVERAL homes over time and bought new three times in addition to that in our lifetime so we are really familiar with the home building experience. This was the most efficient we have ever experienced and we have been pleased with both homes.

They put them up fast but not sloppily. There is no pause in the operation. The picture I posted, that night they delivered the braces(?) for the roof that evening. They have things delivered each evening for the work the next day. There are different specialty teams that do each phase, and they do it very well in my opinion. The building process is so carefully planned that it is like a ballet, each group comes in on cue and many work on the weekend. I saw the crew come in after the block builders left with their big sweeper brooms. They check it and clean it each day.

Welcome to you Countin'. I am just a hugely happy fan of this place. Please don't think I have any connection to the developers, other than I would love to meet them sometime to shake their hands.

38 days

They dug my footers one day and 38 days later the carpet was installed. During that 38 days they did not work on Sundays. Did not work the 4 days around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Took them 11 days to go to settlement. They would no move up the settlement date.
