4% Discount Questions
 

Just got confirmation for our design meeting in September. The 4% discount will apply to the house we are designing. The letter clearly states that it does not apply to a pool or spa...but what I would like to know is does it apply to a birdcage if we choose to add one?

Does anyone know the answer to that question?

BTW: we bought in Fernandina (205-124).

I don't believe "adding" a bird cage after you have met up with the design team and literally "build your home". But it seems to me if the bird cage is part of the original build, that would be included in for your 4%. But do you want the bird cage to be part of your 30 year mortgage, that is if you are carrying one? Also, I don't believe a bird cage is considered as an upgrade in the original build.

We didn't do a pool but added a bird cage and got the 4 percent.

Thanks for that info as I also am planning on adding a birdcage when I start to build (soon!) Also got the 4% so the information you imparted is very good news!
