dangerous intersection???

Does anyone else have a problem making a left turn from Canal on to 466A? A signal light wouldn't hurt. I go on down to Morse, when I don't forget.

Instead of placing traffic lights all up and down 466A, why not just go a little bit over to either Morse or Buena Vista where I believe are lights? It is dangerous to go left on 466A so just take a few extra minutes to cross or turn left with a traffic light.

I agree with you about not placing traffic lights all up and down 466a, but didn't onbjames already say "I go on down to Morse, when I don't forget."

Canal

I don't think it's so much a light need as the vegitation in the median needs to be lowered. If your on 466A east bound and try and turn in you almost have to put the nose of the car into uncoming traffic. Also if you forget to go to Moorse Blvd and try and make a left out of Canal unto 466a east you can't always see the cars heading East on 466A. Remember ther is a crown in the road there so vegitation should be kept lower. Traffic is only going to get heavier as time goes on and another medical building will be going up next to the new one that's just going to be opening on 466A
.

Can't say anything about the danger there (though I'm sure there is)....but speaking of vegetation in TV there are many areas that hinder good vision because of this. We've seen it on arterial streets as well as the main highways here. They seem to plant the trees/bushes right up to the corners. Can't see stop signs until you're "there" as well. IF one is unfamiliar with the neighborhood, this also could be a HUGE accident waiting to happen!! Hope the "lurkers" who might be "powers that be" see these links...perhaps they can take this under advisement.

:agree:The turn onto Canal from eastbound 466a is dangerous because of the hill on the westbound side and the landscaping in the median. You do have to inch your way into the intersection. If a small car is coming the other way, they don't appear until they are almost on top of you. This is one place where I am happy to see large trucks, because they are visible early on.

I doubt they sit around looking at TOTV for peoples complaints. However, you can contact District Property Management and let them know of your concerns...........
