I am catching up on last week's Parade magazine. How did I ever go thru life not knowing the following facts about.....POPCORN?

Okay....all you health food addicts. Here's a fact: There are 1,047 calories in a large plain movie popcorn.

And....the amount of popcorn the average American eats every year is....drum roll please....52 quarts!!!

Now you Jeopardy fans....you are set to win the big bucks, when you play and the category is POPCORN!!!:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Here's a recipe for everybody that uses popcorn:

BAKED STUFFED TURKEY

!0-12 lb. turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (Orville Redenbacher's Low Fat)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.
Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the front of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's butt blows, the oven door opens and the turkey flies across the room, it's done.

I'll bet you thought I couldn't cook!!! :p

I believe you're missing a trailing zero or two, P.........

p.s. There IS a 'P' in popcorn (actually, 2) - but we won't go there. :D
